In addition, Matty added another scoring title to his collection. How dominating has Matty been in winning scoring titles? This is why they call him the Great One!

| This week's Five Guys winner goes to Ray Dow of Coach's Corner. With Over-30 league team infamy staring him in the face, Ray stepped up big time for his team and played the leading role in ensuring that his team would not go winless this season. Ray played both defense and offense in this game. With his team trailing 4-2 late in the second period, Ray shifted up front and set up two goals in a span of fifteen seconds to tie the game and for good measure scored two minutes into the third periodon a sniper slap shot top corner far side. Still not done, Ray went back on defense and blocked not one but two shots off his chest in the last ten seconds, taking two for the team, to preserve the victory.

The Energizer Bunny of the Over-30 league (he keeps going and going and going), George had his best game all season and in the process served notice that the Rhinos will not go away quietly in the playoffs. George scored a hat trick and hustled in setting up three other goals. His goal from the dirty area out front late in the second period broke open a close game turning it into a rout.

FIVE GUYS PLAYER OF THE WEEK 4-6-19 |
| This week's Five Guys winner goes to Carlos Machado of the Rhinos. The damn ball kept finding the Portuguese wonder kid's stick all game long! DUNKIN DONUT PLAYER OF THE WEEK 3-23-19 |
| This week's Dunkin Donuts winner goes to Matt Farrell of the Black Hole. Welcome back Matt missing the last three weeks with a lower body injury. This was the same time that Black Hole went into a three game losing streak. Matt was back in a big way with his team down by one goal in the second period he tied the game, and then put them ahead with one period to go. After the game the talk was Matt had a great game or was it the absence of the team Captain bring his team down the last three games.

Looking like he has finally recovered, Shawn had a breakout statement game on offense, scoring a hat trick and adding 2-assists. Shawn's efforts in the third period single-handedly broke open a close game.

FIVE GUYS PLAYER OF THE WEEK 3-16-19 |
| This week's Five Guys winner goes to Derrick Power of the Rhinos. For one game, Derrick was the man who stepped up on offense, giving his team a spark early in their game, scoring the game's first goal (and Derrick's first goal of the season) and adding an assist. It was Derrick's hustle, hard work and point production that jump started his team allowing their offense to get on track. Based on his recent play, Derrick has settled into his role on offense after shifting up from defense this year.

DUNKIN DONUT PLAYER OF THE WEEK 3-9-19 |
| This week's Dunkin Donut winner goes to Cooch of Gang Green. Cooch set the pace early for his team's latest win as he scored the game's first 2-goals then assisted on another in the first period. Cooch also made a heads up read of the defense on a faceoff near the blue line in a one goal game in the third period, to set up a key breakaway goal off the faceoff. The breakout performance on offense moved Cooch into a tie for second place in the scoring race and second on his team in scoring. His second goal gave him 6-goals for the season; looks like we were season too early having Cooch take that Pink Stick Bag Challenge.

They like me, they really like me! |
|
| This week's Five Guys winner goes to Tony Bono of Mixed Nuts. Tony's seamless transition to the Mixed Nuts defensive roster has paid instant dividends, giving the team perhaps the best defensive core in the league. Niko's efforts were rewarded as he scored the game winning goal early in overtime, with a no look back to the net shot that found the low far side corner. Niko's hustle, ball control and making plays all game perhaps finally was his breaking out moment to become that player with potential to an every game impact player.

FIVE GUYS PLAYER OF THE WEEK 2-23-19 |
| This week's Five Guys winner goes to Mauro Colucciello of Mixed Nuts. We just could not overlook Mauro for this award considering how he scored 2-goals to easily beat that Pink Stick Bag Challenge in record setting time, needing only 6 games to accomplish this. Just for good measure, Mauro added an assist to silence his critics and now has leverage in demanding from them "pay me $40." This proves what we knew all along that Mauro is the goal scorer in the Colucciello family and has restored the family name on his own!

DUNKIN DONUT PLAYER OF THE WEEK 2-16-19 |
| This week's Dunkin Donuts winner goes to Jim Barber of Black Hole. Jim becomes the only player this season to win back-to-back Player of the Week awards. Numbers don't lie as he scored a hat trick accounting for every goal his team scored, has scored 5-goals in his last two games, leads all goal scorers in the league with 7-goals and moved up to second place in the scoring race. However, we all agree that it has to be the black Vulcan stick and not the player! Numbers don't lie. 7-goals this season and 13-goals last season..........in 33 seasons prior to this year, Jim has scored a total of 143 goals. Do the math..................143 divided by 33 = 4.33 average goals a season. It's definitely the stick!

FIVE GUYS PLAYER OF THE WEEK 2-16-19 |
| This week's Five Guys winner goes to Steve Iacoviello of Black Hole. Playing shutdown defense that led to heads up transition outlet passes in setting up 2-goals for his team, Ike extended his personal point streak to 1-goal and 4-assists over his last three games. Having a breakout season, Steve is finally stepping out of the shadow of team mate Jason Carrien and standing out on his own merit.
|
DUNKIN DONUT PLAYER OF THE WEEK 2-9-19 |
| This week's Dunkin Donuts winner goes to John Mastrocola of Coach's Corner. For the past couple of weeks, the hecklers in the Stadler & Waldorf sideline luxury box have been relentlessly tormenting John with taunts of "are you going to do something out there or just take up space?" Motivated by this, John answered his critics in a big way, scoring 2-goals in the third period and bringing his team back from a two goal deficit. In his last two games, John has scored 3-goals to silence his critics!

FIVE GUYS PLAYER OF THE WEEK 2-9-19 |
| This week's Five Guys winner goes to Umberto Biancardi of Gang Green. For Papa all those nights and hours spent rehabbing in the gym on the stationary bike finally paid off!

| This week's Dunkin Donuts winner goes to Jim Barber of Black Hole. As one of the top captain's in the over 30 league history Jim also does his talking on the floor. Jim had his best game so far this season leading his team to a 6 to 1 victory over mixed nuts. Jim had two goals and three assists. The highlight of the game was a great pass from Ike sending Jim alone on a breakaway going five hole. Many people are asking is Jim's success his black Vulcan stick or is it him.

Chris' rink awareness, play making skills and smart hockey sense were on full display in this game.
|
DUNKIN DONUT PLAYER OF THE WEEK 1-19-19 |
| This week's Dunkin Donuts winner goes to Sean Roach of Mixed Nuts. To say that Sean was locked in for his game is an understatement. With his team struggling to find offense and his defense having some issues with the fore check, Sean stood tall and made timely key saves thoughout the game, some even multiple ones during net front flurries, as he held the fort until his team got untracked.

Shame again Mr Photographer. The spotlight is supposed to be on Shawn Wyatt, not the other "Have Some Fun" gang! |
|
| This week's Five Guys winner goes to Shawn Wyatt of Black Hole. Who says that blue collar grunt players can't step up and influence a game? Such wqas the case for Shawn as his individual effort late in the first period hustling to set up a goal, then early in the second period being in perfect position to score his first goal iof the season, helped break open a close game.
