PSA
We want to start this week’s Forum with a couple of PSA’s
First, we recognize that “Heckler’s Row” and its intended purpose of “Heckling and Chirping” is part of the fun…, but we want to relay to the players that your conduct needs to be kept in check at all times.
We often have women and those little pesky kids within an ear shot of the action…, we ask that you keep the “Heckling” fun but also respectful.
During the regular season (we get it)…, but come time for the playoffs, there’s a reason why we shut down the forum and focus less on the banter and let players focus on playing.
Just remember it’s “Heckler’s Row” not “Rowdy Row” and if it becomes too rowdy the league will step in with disciplinary actions (if needed).
Hidden Message
We have a decoded message to our players…, that we’re sure you’ll know the hidden meaning and purpose of. So read carefully between the lines and if you’re confused by this message, please see the League Director.
We are asking players who bring “Racks or Cases” to the gun range…, that you do not have permission from the Gun Range Officer to “Open Carry”. All players that want to “shoot” need to be concealed. We ask that if you bring “Racks or Cases” upstairs that they are in your hockey bag while transporting them upstairs.
While you are walking around “Shooting the shit” you also cannot open carry…, please use a Koozie, Paper bag, Red Solo Cup, or even the Jason Carrien sock puppets.
We are asking you to keep it on the down-low and preferably at the dimly lit Scoreboards Pub and Grill so as to adhere to the Hockeytown contract that the league has to sign every year.
WTF??
If you missed the 4:30 game, you missed the “WTF” moment of the day.
What was that moment you ask?
It was everyone trying to figure out “WTF” was on Ricky Cassano’s chest? Was it a medical device or something that was court ordered?
Looks like someone got a GoPro Camera from Santa and he thought he was the next Martin Scorsese and was going to make the Italian version remake of “Slapshot” starring the Royal Family as the Chiefs “the town's minor league hockey team, who are also struggling with a losing season and an increasingly hostile crowd.”
Nice job Ricky…, we look forward to the movie release date.
Opening Goal
We’re waiting on the footage..., but Ricky Cassano did capture the opening goal of the season by his own Captain Angelo De Luca…, whose goal was assisted by none other than “GoPro Ricky”.
We’re waiting to see if in the video Rick can be heard yelling “Get me the assist” to Angelo.
We’re also waiting to see if “GoPro Ricky” and his first goal of the season, which actually tied the game at 4-4 was caught on video…, or was it just another blurry “Bigfoot” footage moment.
More Royal Apparatus
Looks like Santa was nice to some of the Royal Family members…, as along with “GoPro Ricky” and his new toy…, Gino Tammaro was spotted wearing something on his head that we’ve never seen Gino wearing before.
We’re not sure if Gino’s new helmet is going to be a weekly thing…, or was he just wearing it because he was playing against the League Director the “Nortorious B.I.G.” (Billy’s an Instigating Goon).
Leaked Footage
Looks like we received some video footage from “GoPro Ricky” and his chest cam that was sent to the Over-30 League’s Internal Affairs Department for review and possible disciplinary actions.
During the opening game last week there was a moment captured on video of an altercation involving Black Magic Captain Dominic DeFrancisco and Rick Cassano.
Unlike the 5-minute “Unsportsmanlike” penalty that was missed during the Black Magic vs White Lies playoff game when Dom smashed his stick against the glass in anger (that went unnoticed by the referee’s.., but not by every other person watching the game)…, this time Dominic was caught losing his cool and it was all caught on video thanks to “GoPro Ricky”.
