This book is dedicated to Bill Abcunas, Mike Naczas, and the Board of Directors along with (all the players) over the previous 29-seasons that made the Over-30 League such a successful and fun league to be part of.
It’s not just the sport that we love to play, but the weekly comradery, competition, teammates and friendships that are all derived from being part of it.
This 30th Anniversary booklet is a culmination of my love for the game, the players, the stats, and the history of the league. Aside from creating and maintaining the Over-30 website, several years ago I took over the leagues historical data and career stats for every player that ever played in the Over-30 league.
I wanted to create and share this special 30th Anniversary edition with the players (who like myself) enjoy the stats and history of the Over-30 League.
481-players have recorded stats with 16,769-goals, 22,743-assists, 39,512-points and 219-players have their name engraved at least once on the trophy.
It was an honor when Bill asked me to take over the website, career stats, become a captain and eventually a contributing board member.
We couldn’t fit 29-years of historical data and events into this booklet (but we covered a lot).., with the focus being on the current players while still paying tribute to the leagues history, historical players and the championships.
We wanted to create the “Wow” factor for our 30th Anniversary.., I hope this book is part of it (and) that you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it over the course of 4-months.
