Dave left no doubt early and often in his game that his team would win, as he exploded on offense with 4-goals and 2-assists to factor in on every goal except two in his team’s rout.
Dave total points production was one short of most points scored by a player in a single game this season. Dave’s big scoring day leapfrogged him into 6th place overall amongst the league scoring leaders.

John is one of those under the radar defensemen that is solid at his position but will get overlooked by others who are flashier and stand out by their point production.
What you will get from John is consistency defensively, his ability to read the play and make safe breakout passes. His under the radar approach would make John a valuable addition to any team’s defensive core.

Doug Sedille
The winner of the weekly AARP award is Doug Sedille of Black Magic.
All season long, Doug has shown off his versatility as a player by either playing forward or filling in on defense. Bo matter where he plays, he brings that smart hockey sense into play.
Playing back on the top line, Doug assisted on the game’s opening goal while showing off his ability to slow the game down, read the play, while setting up team mates for scoring chances by passing to open spots on the rink.

Scott Roasto
The winner of the Nelson Sousa Lucky Goalie of the Week award is Scott Rosato of Black Magic.
It was only justified that Scott completed the best season he has ever had career-wise with a shutout, as he stopped all 30 shots faced, including a penalty shot chance late in the game.
With zero goals allowed, Scott lowered his season GAA well below 2.00, becoming only the ninth goalie to make league history and join the exclusive regular season "under 2.00 GAA" club.

The winner of the Defenseman of the Week award is Dan Broderick of White Lies.
The well-respected defensive icon of the league may be older, slower and takes longer to recover after playing, but he continues to play a steady and intelligent style on the rink.
Even against today’s younger and faster players, Dan is still hard to beat one on one, is a magician with the poke check and his hockey IQ is one of the very best in the league.

The Dunkin Donuts Player of the Week award winner is Nick Romano of Black Magic.
Nick turned back the time when he was younger and had the legs, as his team played shorthanded on offense with only four players.
Nick’s hustle resulted in scoring a goal and setting up three others, including cleanly winning a key faceoff in the second period that broke open a close game.

The winner of the Five Guys weekly award is John Mastrocola of Marooned.
Hampered with a season of dealing with multiple injuries, John came back off of his recent stint on IR to fill in on defense for his shorthanded team and played a solid game.
Just as things were looking positive for John, unfortunately he suffered another lower body injury late in his game to go back on IR.

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Paul Firicano of Black Magic.
With his team playing shorthanded on defense, Paul was the quarterback, showing why he has been one of the more consistent defensemen this season.
Paul played some major minutes, scoring a big goal in the first minute of the game, while also setting up a big insurance goal.

Steve recorded his first weekly goalie award stopping 28 out of 29 shots faced in his game.
Steve played his best game of the season, making some timely key saves in a tie game to give his team time to get their offense going. Steve could be the X factor come playoff time for his team to be successful.

In a big game for playoff seeding, Cappy and his team’s defensive core shut down and contained their opponent.
Cappy controlled the play in his zone, made some smart breakout passes, and set up a big insurance goal early in the third period.

Gino had his best game of the season, as he factored in on every goal his team scored, with 2-goals and 2-assists.
His shorthanded goal early in the second period was the big play of the game as he took a breakout pass and was off to the races, burying his shot on a breakaway.

The winner of the Five Guys weekly award is Joe Carlton of Royal Family.
With his team missing two defensemen, Joe stepped in to fill that need. Joe set up a goal in the first period, while playing some big minutes.
Joe’s positioning helped move the ball out of his team’s defensive zone quickly, helping keep the opponent’s scoring chances to a minimum.

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Pat Pirone of Royal Family.
Pat had his forechecking game going, as he disrupted the breakout timing of the opponent’s defense while establishing position at the crease.
His effort paid off as he set up the game’s first goal only forty seconds into his game, then scored a goal himself positioned at the top of the crease to give his team an early two goal lead.

Jeff Deharo
The winner of the Nelson Sousa Lucky Goalie of the Week award is Jeff Deharo of Royal Family.
With his team hustling the entire game on both ends of the rink and giving him an early first period lead, Jeff made sure to keep it that way, as he stopped 23 out of 25 shots he faced.
In the second period alone, Jeff had multiple saves on prime scoring chances where he flashed out the glove taking away the net and not giving up any rebounds.

The winner of the Defenseman of the Week award is Shawn Mulcahy of Royal Family.
Shawn played his best game of the season on defense, as he played smart, ball control to quarterback the defense.
His ability to read the play and snuff out any scoring chances was on display, as well as his ability to slow down the pace of the play making heads up decisions and breakout passes.

The Dunkin Donuts Player of the Week award winner is Jamie Kehoe of Marooned.
Jamie’s game is starting to fall into place as his team’s number one quarterback defenseman and impact player.
Jamie factored in on every goal his team scored, setting up all three goals, in a big win for his team. In the last two games, Jamie has jumped into the offense with 7-points.

The winner of the Five Guys weekly award is Dave Giusti of the Sandbaggers.
With his team missing four of its players on offense, and the opposition carrying the play, Dave played one of his best games this season in keeping his team in this game.
Facing 32 total shots, many of Dave’s saves occurred in a flurry of scoring chances. If not for his solid play in net, this game could have easily been a blowout.

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Ron Aquino of Tealsters Union.
The Flyin Hawaiian had his best game this season, with 1-goal and 1-assist. His breakaway highlight goal late in the second period was a thing of beauty as he made a goal scorer’s move to freeze the goalie and score.
Ron’s goal got his team back into their game and swung the momentum to their side.

The winner of the Nelson Sousa Lucky Goalie of the Week award is Dale McIsaac of Marooned.
Dale was solid all game in leading his team to a huge win that moved them into second place overall in the standings.
Dale stopped 31 out of 32 shots faced in his game, with multiple saves on point blank scoring attempts.

With his team shorthanded on defense, Bill played a lot of minutes. His solid positioning allowing him to anticipate the play to break up passes and any scoring attempts, limiting the opposition’s offense allowing his team to transition into quick breakouts.

Jim extended his goal scoring streak to two games, but more importantly has scored the game winning goal in both of these games.

He may be older and a little slower, but the well-respected defenseman knows how to play this game. Dan’s ability to always read the play in front of him, make stick to stick breakout passes, and his uncanny ability never to get beat one-on-one are always on display.
Dan assisted on one of his team’s goals, while playing smart positional defense to play a role in his team posting their first shutout of the season.

After 11 weeks played this season, we finally got to see Jamie Kehoe make an impact on the game sheet.
Jamie scored 1-goal and added 2-assists, as he factored in on his team’s first three goals in building up a big lead.

Usually under the radar when he plays, Derrick had a statement game, scoring 2-goals, including a big momentum shifting game winning goal.
For one week, Derrick was the best player in all three games, for his hustle and impact. His hand-eye coordination on his game winning goal, knocking it out of the air, was a great play.

Eddie broke out offensively in his game, scoring his first goal of the season, and narrowly missed scoring another.
Eddie was all around the net in the first period with his team controlling most of the play, while hustling all game.

Colleen played a strong all-around game, making plays and breaking up scoring chances of the opposition.
Trailing by a goal and the goalie pulled, Colleen made not one but two defensive plays blocking sure goals from going into the open net, giving her team a chance to tie the game.

The former Portuguese Power made a surprise visit in his game, scoring a hat trick and was shooting from everywhere, throwing 12 shots on net. Tony reminded everyone that he still is capable of breaking out on offense with his goal scoring.
His key goal late in the second period, broke open a close game that allowed his team to dominate the third period to put this game away.

After reading the weekly critics pointing out his lack of scoring goals, Mike answered this by making a statement in his game, by scoring 4-goals and adding 1-assist.
With sixteen goals scored halfway through this season, maybe Mike will once again prove his critics wrong by joining that exclusive 30-goal club.

Derrick had a big test in his game that he passed with flying colors. Derrick had to play some major minutes with his team short-handed and he gave a solid all-around effort on offense as well as defense.
His team has made the commitment to give Derrick all the support in seeing him develop into a goal scorer as well as a more complete player.

Dave had a big impact in his team’s victory as he was directly involved during the first period with his team jumping out to a four-goal lead.
Just over two minutes into the game, Dave’s hustle set up his team’s second goal and three minutes later, Dave was rewarded by scoring his first goal of the season.

Tony played a major role on his team coming back five times from one goal deficits to win in OT in a high scoring game, as he scored a hat trick.
He almost didn’t have that opportunity as he took a delay of game penalty in OT that gave the opposition a 4-on-3 powerplay. However, Tony made amends by scoring the game winner off a rebound out front.

Focusing his efforts on the defensive end the first two periods, Dom kicked his game into another level in the third period, turning a close game into a rout, scoring 2-goals and adding 1-assist.

Ten weeks after being out on long-term IR with a lower body injury, Todd returned to action.
Coming back healthy to start the new season, Todd gave a good effort on the rink and scored a goal to tie the score late in the second period.

Mr. Team USA is under a lot of pressure this season as he takes on the Pink Shirt Challenge and needing to score 6-goals.
