WEEK # 15 (4-11-15)
With playoff implications on the line, their season in jeopardy and the chance to defend their championship title hanging by a thread, the week 15 winner of the Five Guys Lunch Pail Gang Award goes to Angelo "Kato" Deluca of Goodfellas. Leaving no doubt as to who would lead his team and clinch that final playoff spot, Anglelo put his team on his back and carried them in as he factored into five of his team's seven goals in a convincing victory. Angleo broke out on offense, scoring 2-goals and adding 3 -assists. Kato should have easily won the Player of the week award, but, once again biased voting denied him his coffee fix.

WEEK # 14 (4-4-15)
This week 14 winner of the Five Guys Lunch Pail Gang Award goes to Nicky Romano of FOURget About-it. Now that Nicky is done with his annual snow plowing rip-off from the State's treasury, he can finally concentrate on just playing hockey. With his team missing two of their regular defensemen, Nicky volunteered to fill in and play defense and did a solid job back there. Nicky was even able to contribute to the offense, scoring a goal and assisting on another while taking 5 shots. With his last minute penalty, Nicky even rercorded an Over-30 hat trick. Make sure you smile for the camera Nicky, knowing that Naz will be taking your picture.

Alby stopped 29 out of 30 shots, in a 1-0 loss, including 12 in the third period alone (many of them prime scoring opportunities). Without Alby's timely saves his team would have lost this game by a few goals. Simply put, Albly did his job in net, to bad his team did not help in the the scoring department.
|

|
WEEK # 11 (3-14-15)

This week 11 winner of the Five Guys Lunch Pail Gang Award goes to Jason Carrien of That's a Plus. In only four short weeks, the rookie defenseman has helped stabilize the defense for his team by injecting some much needed speed and ball control playmaking skills. Jason was very active in his game, landing four shots on net, jumping into the offensive attack to help create some offense, playing sound position, and controlling the ball in his defensive zone.

WEEK # 10 (3-7-15)
This week's Dunkin Donut winner is Scott Rosato of FOURget About-it. All we heard before this weeks game was the goalies were not getting enough love. Twenty dollars for raffle tickets goes a long way. This game felt like a playoff game with one team putting on the pressure in the being of the game, and the other team late in the game. When it was over FOURget About-it came away with a hard fought game winning 3 to 1. Thanks to Scott making some key saves and stopping 30 out of 31 shots.

WEEK # 10 (3-7-15)
This week we went back to awarding the Five Guys Lunch Pail Gang Award go based on the original premise of the award. This week's winner goes to Tony Bono of Goodfellas. Tony didn't have any points last week and didn't have his name on the score sheet. What he contributed wouldn't show up on the game sheet. His leadership in running the team, his hustle, his fore checking and back checking, his positioning all over the rink, and his doing all the little things throughoput the game that mattered for his team earned Tony this award.
|
|
WEEK # 9 (2-28-15)
This week's Dunkin Donut winner is Anthony Lauletta of Legends Last Stand. First ever back to back winner. The hot streak goes on for Anthony playing in only 3 games this season Anthony has 6 goals and 2 assists with 8 points so far. Last week Anthony had a hat trick and 1 assist. Could this be the year for Legends Last Stand if Anthony stays off the injury report I think so.
|
|
WEEK # 9 (2-28-15)
This week's 5 Guys Lunch Pail Gang Award goes to George Medeiros of Who Needs Superstars. After the voters snubbed George last week despite his 2-goal performance, George was on a mission to show everyone and prove them wrong. He did with another strong all-around performance as he scored a key goal and added 2-assists. Once again his all-around hustle and play making skills made everyone around him that much better (right Sergio?)

WEEK # 8 (2-21-15)
This week's 5 Guys Lunch Pail Gang Award goes to Sergio Costa of Who Needs Superstars. Sergio was very active in his game last week recoring seven shots on net, talking to his teammaters and keeping them positive throughout the game and productive on offense as well, factoring in on every goal scored by his team with three assists. Even though his team has struggled this season for wins, Serigo is tied for the team lead in scoring.
|
|
WEEK # 7 (2-14-15)
This week's Dunkin Donut winner is Matty Iannello of Legends Last Stand. The Great One strikes again, scoring in overtime to keep hold onto first place. Matty is putting some distance from his nearest competition in the scoring race this season with 6 goals and 12 assiats. We all remember last season how Matty went crying to the league director about one assist that he should have recieved. Just like the puppet director he gave in to Matty's wishes and gave him the assist. Matty does not want to beg again this season so he can win one more award.

|
WEEK # 7 (2-14-15)
This week's 5 Guys Lunch Pail Gang Award goes to Scott Rosato of FOURget About-it. There were grumblings last week about Scott not receiving this award after posting the first shutout of the spring season. The Hockey Gods made sure to reward Scott this week after his performance in net, stopping 28 out of 30 shots, including a highlight reel play double pad stack late in the third period, as well as stopping two partial breakaways in overtime to preserve his team earning a point.
|
|
WEEK # 6 (2-7-15)
This week's Dunkin Donut winner is Dominic Defrancisco of That's a Plus. Dominic had his best game of the year he was all over the rink, his great hustle helped lead his team for the second straight win. Dominic finished with a natural hat trick. I could not give this award to Bill with only scoring one goal in overtime. If Colleen did not trip over the boards and fall down, Bill would have never scored.
|
| WEEK # 6 (2-7-15)
The Week 6 winner of the Five Guys Lunch Pail Gang Award goes to the Portuguese wonder-child Carlos Machado of FOURget About-it. When he isn’t complaining to the referee’s or trash talking to his opponents, Carlos can be an impact player. Such was the case last week as Carlos stabilized his team’s defense and quarterbacked the play in his zone that led to smart breakouts. When he was not breaking up potential offensive threats by the other team, Carlos managed to take three shots on net as well as set up his team’s first two goals in their victory.

The Week 5 winner of the Five Guys Lunch Pail Gang Award for the spring 2015 season goes to Rick Cassano of Goodfellas. This week's Dunkin Donut winner is Tony Medeiros of That's a Plus. We thought with the pressure of the pink stick bag challenge it would be to much for Tony to handle. After missing one game, and a slow start Tony game out swinging last week finishing with a hat trick and helping his team stoppping a long lossing streak of eight games, That's a Plus has their first win of the season.

The Week 3 winner of the Five Guys Lunch Pail Gang Award for the spring 2015 season goes to Gary Goodwin of Legends Last Stand. Gary has adapted very well, stabilizing the defensive core group with his speed and physical play. Last week, this move paid off as Gary showcased his scoring skills by scoring a key goal from the point on a bomb of a slap shot, showing everyone that the nickname "Stone hands" no longer applies to him.

WEEK # 1 (1-3-15)
The Week 15 winner of the Five Guys Lunch Pail Gang Award for the spring 2015 season goes to Colleen Sedille of Goodfellas. After being on IR towards the end of the season, missing her team's last three games as well as both playoff games, Colleen came back in a big way, recording her first-ever Over-30 league hat trick (a goal, assist and a penalty). Colleen also made the highlight play of the young season when she broke up a developing 3-on-2 at the center line then carried the ball in deep and beat the goalie to the low far side for her first goal of the year. What was left out by mistake was it was the League Director Mr. Bill that she broke up at center ice.
