WEEK # 14 (11-29-14)
The Week 14 winner of the Five Guys Lunch Pail Gang Award goes to Derrick Power of Legends last Stand. With his team playing short-handed in a must win game, Derrick stepped up his game and logged a lot of minutes, played solid position and did his part in limiting the opposition in only scoring one goal. Originally drafted as a forward for his team, Derrick has seamlessly adapted to playing defense and stabilized what was a concern earlier in the season about his team's defensive core.

WEEK # 13 (11-29-14)
This week's Dunkin Donut winner is Matty Iannello of Legends Last Stand. The Great One played a key role in finally leading his team out of the cellar in the team standings and position themselves for that final playoff spot. Matty factored into both of his team's goals, setting up the first, then scoring the game winner. It's fitting that the Great One wins this award since receiving a hockey ball in recognition of becoming the first-ever Over-30 player to record 1,000 career points is simply not good enough for such a milestone.

WEEK # 13 (11-29-14)
The Week 13 winner of the Five Guys Lunch Pail Gang Award goes to Jeff Deharo of Legends last Stand. Jeff was solid in net ensuring that his team’s early lead held up, stopping 24 out of 25 shots and just missing out on a shut-out. Jeff’s rebound control and angle positioning was outstanding all game, tying up most initial shots and not giving his opponents any good looks at the net. Jeff’s play in net has helped Legends Last Stand win four of their last five games and get back into the playoff race.

WEEK # 12 (11-22-14)
This week's Dunkin Donut winner is Scott Young of Goodfellas. The league had a tough choice this week on who was the top player this week. After many long days we had no choice, but to give it to Scott not beacuse he had a hat trick just because we could not come up with any one else that had many points this week. Scott finished with one goal and two assists.

WEEK # 11 (11-15-14)
The Week 9 winner of the Five Guys Lunch Pail Gand Award goes to Colleen Sedille of Goodfellas. As the only girl playing in the Over-30 league, Colleen made Jim Barber's chasing league history motto come true by having Jim admit to Colleen "who's your mommy now" with the highlight play of the winter 2014 season. Colleen's tournament-level Defensive play against Jim, whereby she flipped the script when Jim tried to make a spin move around her along the boards, only to trip over his own feet and fall flat on his face, while Colleen calmly retrieved the ball and set up a team mate for a scoring chance. An embarrassed Jim was last seen limping back to his bench, head down, ducking for cover from the humiliation. For good measure, Colleen assisted on the key insurance goal in her team's victory,.

|
WEEK # 6 (10-11-14)
This week's Dunkin Donut winner is Mike Luise of Who Needs Superstars. Mike made a big jump in the league leaders page by scoring a hat trick. The last couple of weeks we were hearing about how Mike has lost a step and his scoring touch, he found both of them last week. The Over-30 league does not have a drug testing policy but we might have to start one.

WEEK # 5 (10-4-14)
The Week 5 winner of the Five Guys Lunch Pail Gand Award was too close to call this week, as we have co-winners in Jamie Kehoe of Goodfellas and Sean Snelders from That's A Plus. |
WEEK # 4 (9-27-14)
The premise behind the weekly Five Guys Lunch Pail Gang Award is to give this award out to a player who doesn't necessarily find his name on the game sheet. However, this week is the exception. Week's 4's Five Guys Lunch Pail Gand Award winner goes to Dominic Defrancisco of That's A Plus who assisted on 5 goals in his team's win. |
WEEK # 3 (9-20-14)
We had a difficult time picking a winner for Week 3's Five Guys Lunch Pail Gang Award. We paced back and forth walking around for what seemed a lifetime until we magically found ourselves on the yellow brick road heading to the land of Oz that we had an epiphany and realized the choice was Tony aka "the Munchkin" Mastrocola of FOURget About-it. Tony's offensive outburst late in the first period in less than a minute's time produced an assist and the go ahead goal in leading his team in a blowout win. Tony's 6 shots taken in this game reinforced just how much he was involved in his team's offense, never once worring about and flying monkeys overhead or a house falling on him.

|
WEEK # 2 (9-13-14)
This week's Dunkin Donut winner is Mike O'Neil of Who Needs Superstars. The highly touted rookie came into the league with high recommendations and has not failed to live up to all the press. Mike scored 2-goals late inthe second period and early in the third period along with an assist to lead his team's offense and break open a close game. Even though it is ealry in the new season, the play of Mike O'Neil and Derek Shaw is turning into a potent offensive combination.

|
