Bell Ringer
Last week was another non-playing week thanks to the Hockeytown Zamboni(s) and their CO emissions.
While we were all outside waiting patiently outside and hoping to return to play…, the Assistant League Director Mike Naczas reminded us about the season of “Bell Ringing” with his continuous ringing of the bell on the Saugus Ladder 1 Fire Truck.

This Christmas season when you are out shopping…, please remember those who are less fortunate and donate to those Salvation Army Bell Ringers.
This season when you hear that bell ringing…, drop a dollar in the red bucket…, just say “This one’s for Naz” and you may even receive a little Christmas miracle and hockey karma for your generous donation to the Salvation Army.

We’re not sure of the exact dollar amount donation to Over-30 points karma..., but we speculate it’s $5 for an assist, $10 for a goal, and $20 for a hat trick. So, if you donate to the red kettles, let us know if the math was correct.
Oh…, and if you see Naz’…, please thank him for everything he does on a weekly basis for the Over-30 League and his “bell ringing” efforts to raise awareness to the Salvation Army.
