The Dunkin Donuts Player of the Week award winner is Jason Glista of Captain’s Mutiny.
It’s rare when a defenseman steals the spotlight away from a forward or goalie to be named the Player of the Week. In Jason’s case, this was well earned.
Jay assisted on three of his team’s first four goals in the first period, and assisted on one more to break his game open early, leaving no doubt of the outcome. Jay elevated his game being the playmaker on defense.
Adding to that performance on offense, Jay played some major minutes on defense while limiting the scoring chances of his opponent.

With his team looking for secondary scoring and unable to win games, Dave moved up front to ignite his team’s offense, scoring 2-goals and adding 1-assist.
With his two goals scored, Dave beat his Pink Shirt Challenge by scoring 5-goals this season to avoid having to wear that pink shirt next season.

Matty’s efforts played a big role in his team extending their winning streak to four games and looking more and more like the favorite to clinch that second playoff seed.

Leaders usually lead their teams when things aren’t in their favor or trying to get back on track. Angelo did that as team captain, leading by example by scoring 2-goals and adding 2-assists and factoring in on every goal his team scored.
The impact was putting an end to the team’s two game losing streak as well as making a big jump out of the cellar and into 4th place in the standings.

For the second time this season, Mike has earned the Player of the Week award. By scoring 5-goals in a game, that extended his team remaining unbeaten in 9 straight games, Mike eclipsed his 4-goal performance in week 5.
Without a doubt, Mike has emerged as the league’s most dangerous and lethal shooter in the league.
