One of the Over-30 league’s most adaptable and reliable role players who can play defense, his natural position, or forward just as easily if asked to fill that role for his team. The consummate team player who “just wants to play” and will do what is in the best interests of the team. A solid and proud member of the Over-30’s blue collar lunch pail gang, what Tom lacks in skills he more than makes up for it in hustle and hard work. His playing style you could say is more unorthodox in appearance rather than polished. One thing his style does accomplish is the occasional unexpected results. For example, in the Winter 2010 championship game, Tom was once again asked to move up front to fill that need for his team. All he did was score 2 goals in less than a minute to break open a tie game and propel his team to the championship victory, while winning the playoff MVP award in the process.
Now playing in his 33rd season, Tom’s versatility has made him a welcome addition to any captain in the Over-30 league knowing that they have the luxury of rotating Tom from defense to forward and back to defense. Sure, he will make a pass that is up at your waist from time to time during the game, but, his smothering coverage of chasing down the opponent and not giving him much room to operate can frustrate even the most skilled players in the league. His 7 championships has Tom tied for 6th place overall for most championships won.

- Thought he was being asked to be a special guest presenter of the Playoff MVP award in the Winter 2010 finals to pass out to someone on his own team, not knowing that he was the recipient of this prestigious individual award
- Always is confused trying to figure out who is winning the game, even after checking out the scoreboard
