In the midst of a not surprising impact season that has his team in first place and getting stronger every week as a perennial playoff favorite, Matty did was Matty does.

Tony Rolli
The Dunkin Donuts Player of the Week award winner is Tony Rolli of ReUnited.
“Strength down the middle” is a phrase one hears when teams talk about their depth at center.
Having one top center on the first line is key, but, having a top center on your second line is a bonus. Tony Rolli provides that to his team.
In a key game against the first-place team, Tony scored his team’s first two goals, then assisted on the game winner late in the game helping his team move into first place.

Steve Silviera
The Dunkin Donuts Player of the Week award winner is Steve Silveira of Omerta.
Duplicating what team mate Ray Dow achieved in week 5, Steve did something that is very rare, when a defenseman scores a hat trick, on shots taken out at the point.
Steve WAS all the offense for his team in this game, as he scored 2-goals with twenty seconds and eleven seconds to play in the second period to erase a two-goal deficit.
He followed that up right after the other team went ahead with just over a minute to play on the ensuing face off three seconds later, again tying the game on a shot from just over the blue line.

Sean Roach
The Dunkin Donuts Player of the Week award winner is Sean Roach of Top Secret.
Sean played his best game of the season. If it wasn’t for Sean literally stopping everything thrown at him, his team would have gotten blown out.
With his team playing short-handed and not generating much offense this season, Sean has faced a lot of pressure to keep the score close for his team.
Facing 36 shots in the game, Sean did his part keeping the game scoreless. Only two shots managed to get by him. After stopping multiple point-blank scoring chances, with less than thirty seconds left in the game, it was a fluky shot that eluded him.

Joe Carlton
The Dunkin Donuts Player of the Week award winner for 2/27/22 is Joe Carlton of Gold Miners.
Joe has had a quiet season as far as scoring goals with only three shots finding the back of the net.
However, when Joe does score, his goals are timely and make a difference in a game.
Such was the case in this game as Joe scored back-to-back goals, the first late in the second period, while the second was scored early in the third period, that increased a one-goal game into a two-goal game.
