WEEK # 9 (11-2-13)
This week's Dunkin Donut winner is Tony Medeiros. Tony had his best game this season with two quick goals in the first period and finishing up with his hat trick in the third period. WEEK # 8 (10-26-13)
This week's Dunkin Donut winner is Jim Barber. On paper Jim had a hat trick but he really scored two goals the third one was a punk move scoring with seven seconds left in a open net. His team was down one goal with seconds left Jim had the ball with no one near him and walk in on a break away the right thing to do with was to shot the ball in the cornor and let the clock run out. Not Jim his eyes wide open saw the open net and the Dunkin Donut gift card in his sights shot the ball in the open net. We talked to Mr 900 points himself Joe Shannon and he said that any good hockey player would shot the ball wide in his words that was a "PUNK MOVE".

WEEK #1 (9-7-13)
And so the Over-30 league’s winter 2013 season kicked off with an unexpected performance by week one’s Dunkin Donuts award winner. The other Portuguese Medeiros player in the Over-30 league, George Medeiros, shined in the spotlight, laying claim to the league’s real Portuguese Powerhouse player title early, as he contributed in on every one of his Shooting Stars team’s three goals in their opening day 3-2 overtime victory. George scored 2-goals and assisted on another as he set up the game’s first goal, put himself in perfect position to score the dramatic tying goal with 28 seconds to play in the game, and then followed that up by being in the right place at the right time to score the winning goal two minutes into overtime, scoring on a rebound.
