Nick Doherty
The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is Nick Doherty of First Responders.
Nick FINALLY breaks out on offense scoring a hat trick and was the best player on offense for his team. After waiting all season for this player to show up, he finally broke out. If this game triggers Nick being THAT player from the past impacting the offense, look out the rest of the competition (he could be his team's "X Factor" in a playoff run).

| Week #15
Bob Snyder
The winner of the Dick’s Sporting Goods weekly award is Bob Snyder of Cam-A-Lot.
In a tough season for his team, dealing with players going out on IR due to injuries, being short-handed on defense, and struggling for wins, Bob simply showed up each week and did his job, as he has done previously in the past 40 years of playing the sport of Dek hockey competitively. In playing his last regular season game in any Dek hockey league, the Over-30 league wanted to recognize Bob one last time before he retires.
It has been the league’s privilege to have Bob compete and play with us. We are honored that we were the last league he played in. He leaves a legacy of winning three championships in his first four years played in the league as well as being a great team mate and all-around good guy who always appreciated what the league gave back to him. As Director, I personally want to thank Bob for playing an integral part in giving the Over-30 league and myself our three minutes of fame by showcasing the league on WCVB Channel 5 sports during prime time. His gesture of showing the league and its essence to a wider audience is something that I will always be grateful for. Thank you Bob, as one of the foundational senior veteran players who played for the love of our game and played this game the right way!

Ironically, this is Sean’s first Goalie of the Week award this season. Perhaps it is because how the team in front of him is playing with contributions from multiple players. Or perhaps it has been Sean’s overall consistency all season long that gets overlooked. Sean did more of the same in his game, only giving up one goal while stopping 19 out of 20 shots faced for his league leading 10th win of the season.

| Week #10
Dave Giusti
The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is Dave Giusti of First Responders.
When all six goalies stand out and don’t give up many goals in all the games, THAT gets noticed! Usually when that happens one goalie tends to stand out from the others. And on top of that the rare occurrence happens when that goalie gets the Player of the Week honors. Backstopping his team to a win, Dave stopped 29 out of 30 shots he faced, many of which were point blank range, and pulled off the unthinkable, having a few of the league’s top goal scoring snipers shaking their heads.

Playing defense and a lot of minutes, Cam pulled off the very rare feat of not seeing his name on the game sheet, but single-handedly controlling the game from defense with his breakaway speed and uncanny ball control. In this reporter’s eyes, without a doubt, he was the best player in his game. His ability under pressure to not panic and hold onto the ball putting it into places for his teammates to generate scoring chances was reminiscent of the glory days of Mattie Iannello in its similarity

You won’t find Rob’s name much on the scoresheet as he typically goes about his business quietly. His overall play has been getting more and more noticeable as he continues to make a lot of simple yet crucial plays defensively in his zone. His continuing emergence as a solid under the radar defenseman will benefit his team.

| Week #2
Tom Gallagher
The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is Tom Gallagher of Tommy Guns.
Not to be overlooked by those “young guns” on his line, Tom reminded everyone that as the old man on that line, he still is a dangerous scoring threat, as he upped his game by scoring a hat trick over three periods, while adding an assist. Reminding the league to focus on trying to shut down those two young guns at your own peril!

| Week #2
Joe "Guido" Conary
The winner of the Dick’s Sporting Goods weekly award is Joe “Guido” Conary of Capo-Zero.
Guido was the lone bright spot for his team in their loss, scoring 2-goals (three goals in his last two games) to lead his team on offense, while taking an inadvertent high stick early in the second period removing him from the game only to return and finish the game (now that is a hockey player).

Pat Pirone
The winner of the weekly AARP award is Pat Pirone of Poo Bears.
As one of the league’s 60+ elder statesman, Pat scored his team’s first goal, while stepping up his game on offense with five shots on net, and a net front presence, with his team missing its top line.

| Week #2
Scott Rosato
The winner of the Nelson Sousa memorial Goalie of the Week award is Scott Rosato of the Revolution.
Scott was the best player in this game, even though his team lost. If not for the exceptional play of Scott in net, this game could easily have been a blowout. Yes, he was that good. Get behind him Revolution if you want to turn your season around.

John Hines

| Week #1
Mike O'Neil
The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is Mike O’Neil of First Responders.
Could it be that Mike will live up to his past history boast of “coming for records?” He certainly started off his season the right way, scoring a hat trick and breaking open a tied game, sparking his team to score four straight goals (three of which were scored in the third period).

| Week #1
Tim Burke
The winner of the Dick’s Sporting Goods weekly award is Tim Burke of Cam-A-Lot.
After going on IR most of last season followed by off-season surgery, Tim looked better than ever with his all-around play on the rink, setting up a goal late in the third period to help spark his team’s three goal deficit comeback which fell just short.

| Week #1
Tony Medeiros
The winner of the weekly AARP award is Tony Medeiros of Cam-A-Lot.
Making the shift back to defense obviously hasn’t diminished Tony’s game as he scored a goal while managing to take 10 shots on net out of the 28 shots on net taken by his team. Tony’s play on defense should quickly get his defensive teammates games up to speed very quickly.

Dale McIsaac
The winner of the Nelson Sousa memorial Goalie of the Week award is Dale McIsaac of Capo-Zero.
Dale appears to be on a mission this year to reclaim his status as the league’s top goalie. With a new team and defense in front of him, Dale stopped 22 of 23 shots he faced, looking impressive in his debut.

Jamie Kehoe
The winner of the Mylec Defenseman of the Week award is Jamie Kehoe of Capo-Zero.
Another player hampered by nagging injuries last season, Jamie looked like the franchise defenseman back there, controlling the play, while also scoring the first goal of the game which helped shift the momentum to his team, as they scored three goals in the first period in less than two minutes.
