The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is George Medeiros of Capo-Zero.

George is the leader for his team on offense, setting the tempo and factoring in on four of his team's five goals, scoring 2-goals and 2-assists.  George leaves no doubt his team will win early, scoring both goals in the first period.

The winner of the Dick’s Sports weekly award is Kyle McCabe of Capo-Zero.

Kyle picks the right game to break out on offense as he scores his first goal of the season while adding 2-assists, as his forechecking plays a big part in his team's quick start.

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Dale McIsaac of Capo-Zero.

Dale stops all 20 shots faced in posting his first shutout of the season, while lowering his GAA to finish in third place overall in the leading goalie stats.  If Dale gets hot in the playoffs, he is capable of carrying his team to a championship.

The winner of the Nelson Sousa memorial Goalie of the Week award is Sean Roach of Poo Bears.

In a low scoring game and his team shorthanded, Sean stops 28 out of 29 shots faced, and does his part to help his team earn a valuable point to lock up the number 2 playoff seed and earn a bye week.

The winner of the Mylec Defenseman of the Week award is Shawn Mulcahy of Capo-Zero.

After dealing with a nagging lower body injury this entire year, Shawn hasn’t put up the points on the game sheets.  What he does continue to produce every week is steady heads up defense for his team, controlling the play and being an underrated piece of a 4-man strong defensive group of players.

Senior Citizen 60+ Monthly award winners

Doug Sedille

March - The winner of the Senior Citizen award for the month of March is Doug Sedille of Tommy Guns.
Doug’s all-around play on defense, as well as his ability to set up plays on offense was noticeable during the month of February, especially in their last four games (winning three), as he took a more active role on defense, showing off flashes of making smart reads and controlling the pace of the games.

The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is Rick Cassano of Poo Bears.

Rick (remember him?) breaks out in a big way with his best game for this team in both seasons played, as he factors in on five of the six goals his team scores, with 2-goals and 3-assists.  His hustle and persistence on a late second period shorthanded goal is a great heads-up individual play and breaks open this game into a rout.

The winner of the Dick’s Sports weekly award is Mark Stickney of First Responders.

Mark Stickney continues to impress with his overall game since returning from long-term IR, as he scores 1-goal and adds 1-assist, to extend his point scoring streak to two games. 

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Pedro Fontes of Poo Bears.

Pedro continues to heat up as he scores 2-goals while adding 2-assists to extend his goal scoring streak to three games with another two goals.

The winner of the Nelson Sousa memorial Goalie of the Week award is Anthony Petrillo of Cam-A-Lot.

Anthony shows his resilience in net with a great bounce back game, as he steps up in a big game for his team, stopping 30 out of 31 shots faced, making multiple point-blank saves.   

The winner of the Mylec Defenseman of the Week award is Naz of Poo Bears.

Naz plays some major minutes on defense while getting involved in the offense with 3-assists.  He extends his lead as his team's top point scorer on defense (Dave who?).  In case you haven't been paying attention, Naz has been quietly making a run up the leading defensemen scoring list, as he makes a big jump into a tie for second place overall joining the elite.

The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is Mike Duggan of Tommy Guns.

It's the Mike Duggan show!  Mike leads the way for his team on offense with another hat trick while adding 2-assists to factor in on all the scoring for his team.  In two games played over the weekend, Mike scores 6-goals and adds 5-assists to break away in the leading scorer’s race.  In his last six games played, Mike has scored 14-goals and now only needs 1-goal to beat that Pink Shirt Challenge with two games to play.

The winner of the Dick’s Sports weekly award is Tony Mastrocola of Tommy Guns.

Tony steps up on offense to score a big sniper goal (his first of the season) while also setting up two goals to break a four-game scoring drought.  It’s been a quiet season for Tony in scoring.  Welcome back Tony!

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Lee Nogler of Cam-A-Lot.

Lee runs the offense for his team and factors in on every goal his team scores (not to mention showing his leadership skills by keeping this team in this game while down) as he scores 2-goals and sets up three goals.  In his last three games played, Lee has found his scoring touch again, with 6-goals scored.  

The winner of the Nelson Sousa memorial Goalie of the Week award is Scott Rosato of The Revolution.

Scott is locked in the entire game, stopping all 30 shots faced, including multiple point-blank shots in the second and third period, to lead the way for his team, and earn his first well-earned shutout this season.  He is the reason his team wins this game!

The winner of the Mylec Defenseman of the Week award is Ray Dow of The Revolution.

Ray stands out on defense and reading the play in his defensive zone to break up scoring chances and plays a big role in the offense, scoring 1-goal while adding 1-assist.

The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is Cam Long of Cam-A-Lot.

Cam has a statement game, announcing his return to action, scoring a hat trick while playing defense, picking his spots to jump into the offense.  Cam has this uncanny ability (when healthy) to take over any game either on offense or defense seamlessly.  Without a doubt, his presence has sparked and ignited his team to play their best hockey this season since his return.

The winner of the Dick’s Sports weekly award is Don Maccini of Cam-A-Lot.

The “Raggedy Man” plays his best game this season and it shows as he scores his first goal of the season while setting up another goal.  Surprisingly, on bad knees, he is running the entire game making plays and setting up team mates for scoring chances.

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Tony Medeiros of Cam-A-Lot.

Tony didn’t make the score sheet but played another strong and active game on defense, getting involved in the offense as well as breaking up multiple plays with his hustle.

The winner of the Nelson Sousa memorial Goalie of the Week award is Sean Roach of Poo Bears.

Sean wasn't called on to make a lot of saves, but when they happened in a very close low scoring game, he was there to shut the door and make some timely saves, stopping 19 out of 20 shots faced, until his team’s offense woke up

The winner of the Mylec Defenseman of the Week award is Steve Iacoviello of Poo Bears.

After four games played since returning from long-term IR and getting the reps in to get back into game shape, Ike finally recorded his first point of the season, setting up the insurance goal for his team’s big win.  It is only a matter of time before Ike’s game is back to where it should be considering he has played a lot of shifts with his team short-handed on defense.

The winner of the Dick’s Sports weekly award is Mike Surette of Cam-A-Lot.

Mike plays a solid game on defense in his game against some of the top talent in the league, while making an impact on offense with 2-assists, extending his point scoring streak to two games.

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Brian Pollinger of Cam-A-Lot.

Brian shows signs of being a regular contributor on offense for his team, as he sets up a big insurance goal while extending his point streak to two games.

The winner of the Nelson Sousa memorial Goalie of the Week award is Dave Giusti of First Responders.

Dave continues to play solid for his team in net this season with another stingy performance in net, stopping 24 out of 25 shots faced, keeping this game close until his team’s offense comes alive in the third period. 

The winner of the Mylec Defenseman of the Week award is John Carey of Capo-Zero.

John continues to play solid defense but also makes his presence felt in the offense as he extends his point streak to three games with another multi-point game with 2-assists.

Senior Citizen 60+ Monthly award winners

Mike Luise

Playing with a surprising jump in his game, Mike’s scoring production during the month of February has also seen a big jump, as he scored 1-goal and added 8-assists, which coincidentally has impacted his team in turning around their season, winning three of their four games played during the month. 

The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is Scott Daniliuk of The Revolution.

Rookie Scott is the star of this game, with a breakout performance single-handedly taking this game over in the third period in a one-goal game, as he scores 4-goals, while adding 2-assists, putting his signature on the outcome.

The winner of the Dick’s Sports weekly award is Tim Burke of Cam-A-Lot.

Welcome back to playing in the Over-30 league Tim Burke as he comes back after being out since November to make an immediate impact by scoring a goal on the first shift of the game on a booming slapshot from the blue line!

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Rick Cassano of Poo Bears.

Rick (remember him?), finally scores his first goal over two seasons with his team, then adds another quickly thereafter.  His goals sparks his team to pull away in a tied game.  Congrats Rick on finally removing your name from the "MIA" list of the Over-30 league.

The winner of the Nelson Sousa memorial Goalie of the Week award is Scott Rosato of The Revolution.

With his team trailing in the second period by two goals, Scott locks in his game in net as he stops the next 20 out of 21 shots he faces with a solid performance, holding down the fort until his team finds their offense.

The winner of the Mylec Defenseman of the Week award is Steve Silveira of The Revolution.

Steve scores a HUGE momentum swinging tying goal late in the second period while also adding a key assist, that energizes and sparks his team in scoring four straight goals thereafter.

The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is John Kelleher – of First Responders.

John finds the fountain of youth of his younger days and factors in on all three of his team's goals, scoring 1-goal while adding 2-assists, as he single-handedly brings his team back for a comeback win!  Not bad for an old timer who filled in on defense playing in the previous game.

The winner of the Dick’s Sports weekly award is Seth Ford of Cam-A-Lot.

Every once in a while, the under the radar guys step up and step out into the spotlight.  With his team missing all of its top players, Seth took over the defense as the quarterback, logging a lot of minutes and breaking up a lot of scoring chances.

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Dan Poirier Sr of The Revolution. 

After starting the season not scoring a goal in his first five games, Dan’s game has been re-energized as he scored a goal in his last three games, which coincidentally has gotten his team back into contention as they have won two of their last three games (after going winless their previous six games). 

The winner of the Nelson Sousa memorial Goalie of the Week award is Anthony Petrillo of Cam-A-Lot. 

In a game that featured both goalies stealing the spotlight and standing out with their shutdown performances, Anthony gets back to his winning ways as he stops 24 out of 25 shots faced to lock down the net.  With his team locked in a tied game, he made multiple key saves keeping it this way until his team found their offense.

The winner of the Mylec Defenseman of the Week award is Rich Pelletier of The Revolution.

Not bad for a player who was asked to shift back to defense and help stabilize that position for the team.  Rich returns to action after a one-week absence and make a huge impact with his presence on defense for his team, scoring 1-goal (his first of the season) and adding a key assist.

It only took him 7 games to finally break out on offense and be rewarded by his continuous hustle on the rink.  George had a huge breakout game, scoring a hat trick in the first period to swing the momentum over to his team early and get them back to their winning ways.

The winner of the Dick’s Sporting Goods weekly award is Derrick Power of Cam-A-Lot.

Another player who hustles every shift of every game, regardless of the score, gets rewarded for his efforts, as Derrick scored 2-goals, his first goals this season and both of his team’s goals, keeping them in their game.  His second goal scored on a breakaway was a sniper shot that beat the goalie cleanly.

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Rob Sheridan of Poo Bears.

His team playing shorthanded on offense, having to play a lot of minutes to quarterback his team’s offense, playing against the league’s top offensive line, no problem!  Picking his spots on offense, Rob set up the game’s first goal that broke open a scoreless game on a power play, then sixteen seconds after the game was tied late in the third period, Rob scored a sensational sniper goal to break the hearts of the opponent.  A killer moment on a killer shot!

The winner of the Nelson Sousa memorial Goalie of the Week award is Sean Roach of Poo Bears.

Facing multiple scoring attempts throughout his game, Sean stood tall stopping 25 out of 26 shots faced, including multiple in close chances at the end of the game.  Usually, Sean’s play gets overlooked by the balanced attack of his team, both on offense and defense; however, in this game Sean reminded the league that you still have to beat him if you want a chance defeating his team.

The winner of the Mylec Defenseman of the Week award is Dan Broderick of Poo Bears.

After 9 months out on IR dealing with some medical issues, the legend and icon Dan returned to action and played well.  We expected that it will take some time for Dan to get reacclimated to the play, speed and get his reps for his own game.  What we didn’t expect was the impact on offense Dan would have as he set up both of his team’s goals and held his own against the league’s top line on offense.  Well done Dan and welcome back!

The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is Jim Barber of The Revolution.

Having a major impact on his team winning their first game of the season, Jim continues to stay hot as a goal scorer, as he scored 2-goals for the second straight week, while extending his consecutive goal scoring streak to four straight games.  Jim continues to lead his team as their top goal scorer this season.

The winner of the Dick’s Sporting Goods weekly award is Johnathan Caffarella of Tommy Guns.

Healthy this season, Johnathan continues to impress with all-around play which has sparked his offense as he scored another goal in a big win for his team, while extending his goal scoring streak to three straight games.

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Kevin Johnson of Cam-A-Lot.

With his team competitive and in every game this season, the missing ingredient continues to be someone emerging as a consistent goal scorer.  Kevin scored both his team’s goals in a close game, ending a five-game scoring drought.  It’s time for Kevin to accept he needs to shoot more and pass less.

The winner of the Nelson Sousa memorial Goalie of the Week award is A J Larabee of Tommy Guns.

In a game played against the top team, A J stood tall in backstopping a crucial win for his team, as he stopped 23 out of 24 shots faced, keeping his team in the game until they could find their offense.

The winner of the Mylec Defenseman of the Week award is Doug Sedille of Tommy Guns.

Doug continues to show glimpses more and more of his smart play and ball control skills on defense.    If he continues playing this way, it will go a long way in helping his team be a serious contender and make them a more rounded team on defense.

The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is Eddie Chin of First Responders.

Eddie goes right to the blue paint to quickly put back a rebound in the third period for his first goal of the season, that turns out to be the game winner, to go along with his two assists.  Eddie picked the right time to have a breakout game on offense, as he factored in on three of his team’s five goals scored.  Well done Eddie!

The winner of the Dick’s Sports weekly award is Joe Conary of Capo-Zero.

Joe scores his first goal of the season and it’s a big one that turns into the game winner in overtime.  Every week, Joe gives his team a solid effort with his forechecking, that finally paid off at the right time with a big goal that kept his team tied atop the league standings.

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Cappy of First Responders.

Cappy plays a big part in his team's comeback win as he assists on three goals, including the last two that keeps them tied atop the team standings.  Cappy may not be scoring as much as he has in the past, but his overall defensive play has been noticed and has played a big part in the team’s overall success.

The winner of the Nelson Sousa memorial Goalie of the Week award is Dale McIsaac of Capo-Zero.

Dale continues to do what he has done all season, be very consistent in net, giving his team a better than good chance at winning games every week.  In another solid performance in net, Dale stopped 25 out of 27 shots faced to preserve the win.

The winner of the Mylec Defenseman of the Week award is Naz of Poo Bears.

It finally happened after how many years (?) that Naz scored a goal.  And it was a big goal too off a laser beam shot from the point that beat one of the top goalies, to earn his team a valuable point in the standings.  The self-proclaimed “shutdown defenseman” had his moment in the spotlight making a huge impact in his team’s offense when they needed it.

The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is Patrick Spencer of Tommy Guns.

Patrick remains very hot, as he extends his scoring streak to five straight games, scoring 2-goals late in the second period, and adding 2-assists, to break open a tie game.  Patrick factors into four of his team's five goals to lead his team's offense.

The winner of the Dick’s Sporting Goods weekly award is Gary Goodwin of Cam-A-Lot.

An unexpected player on Cam-A-Lot gets challenged before his game to step up and he does, as Gary leads the way for his team's offense, scoring his first 2-goals of the season.  Quiet on the scoresheet all season, this could be the spark Gary needs to start consistently scoring goals for his team.

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Jim Barber of The Revolution.

Jim is his team's offense, scoring both their goals, as he extends his goal scoring streak to three games, with four goals scored during that streak.

The winner of the Nelson Sousa memorial Goalie of the Week award is Dale McIsaac of Capo-Zero.

Dale continues to look very sharp in net and positionally sound as he stops 27 out of 28 shots faced in winning his third straight game.  His overall play in net is making his defense in front of him that much better.

The winner of the Mylec Defenseman of the Week award is Alex Leone of Tommy Guns.

Alex is the best defenseman in this game, stepping up as his team's number one defenseman to quarterback the effort in his defensive zone.  He also is rewarded for his overall play by finally scoring his first goal this season (and first over two seasons), a big insurance goal to start the third period, while also setting up another goal.

The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is Mike O’Neill of First Responders.

Mike continues to shine to start the season for his team, as he scores his team's first two goals to set the tempo with some very strong all-around play.  If he continues to be consistent every game he plays this season, making an impact, look for Mike to be in on the Season MVP consideration.

The winner of the Dick’s Sporting Goods weekly award is Sean Roach of Poo Bears.

Most of his game’s played, the defense makes Sean’s job easy.  Yet, there are those games where Sean is called on to take matters into his own hands and shut the door in net.  With his team shorthanded on defense, Sean made multiple point-blank saves as he stopped 20 of 21 shots faced to preserve the win.

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Kyle McCabe of Capo-Zero.

Kyle goes under the radar but plays a strong all-around game as he factors in on two of his team's three goals with 2-assists.  Kyle's play this season may be under the radar but continues to get noticed.

The winner of the Nelson Sousa memorial Goalie of the Week award is Scott Rosato of The Revolution.

With his team looking for its first win of the season, Scott stood out this game, grabbing the spotlight keeping this a low scoring affair, as he stops 32 out of 34 shots, denying multiple prime scoring chances.  Scott’s play was crucial in his team earning a point in the standings despite the loss.

The winner of the Mylec Defenseman of the Week award is Steve Medeiros of Capo-Zero.

He may not be playing full-time yet, just filling in, but Steve continues to be a very reliable addition to the Capo-Zero’s roster, making an impact on defense every time he plays, while also setting up the game winning goal in OT in their recent win.  In three games played this season, Capo-Zero has been undefeated when Steve plays, proving that they have the right Medeiros brother playing for them.

Senior Citizen 60+ Monthly award winners

January - The winner of the Senior Citizen award for the month of January is Mark Stickney of First Responders.

After missing all of the previous season dealing with a medical issue, Mark returned to action in January and made an immediate impact on his team’s second line.  His consistent effort every week, uncanny ability to win most of his faceoffs, and still one of the top 60+ older players showed that Mark picked up right where he left of after the Spring 25 season.  In his five games played this season, Mark has 1-goal and 30-assists for 7-points that has elevated his team as one of the early favorites.

The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is Pat Pirone of Poo Bears.

Pat Pirone is the player of his game, leading his team to victory with 2-goals and 2-assists, to factor in on four of his team's five goals scored.  Pat's scoring reaffirms just how much scoring depth this team has to be successful.  Pat’s scoring production puts him in third place overall in the leading scorer’s race and the top scorer for his team.

The winner of the Dick’s Sporting Goods weekly award is Scott Daniliuk of The Revolution.

Rookie Scott Daniluk has a breakout game that brings some much-needed balanced scoring to his team, with 2-goals and 1-assist.  After a few more games, we should see Scott be a bigger influence on his team’s scoring, as well as his versatility in playing both offense and defense.

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Jamie Kehoe of Capo-Zero.

As the leader and quarterback of his team, Jamie has a lot of responsibility while playing a lot of minutes.  His goal production may not as proficient and before, but he makes up for it in setting up his team mates, as evidenced by his 2-assists in his game.

Dave extends his winning streak in net to start the season to two games, as he stops all 32 shots faced, in posting his first shutout of the season.

The winner of the Mylec Defenseman of the Week award is John Hines of Poo Bears.

With his steady smart play in his own defensive zone, John helped minimize the scoring chances from the opposition while also making some good reads in breaking the ball out.  In addition, he added an assist.

The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is Mike Duggan of Tommy Guns.

Mike returns to action and has a breakout game, factoring in on six of his team's seven goals scored, with a hat trick and 3-assists, as he jump starts his Pink Shirt Challenge with a statement performance.  His output on offense was classic Mike Duggan, as he single-handedly took over this game, putting all the league goalies on notice that he is motivated this season.

The winner of the Dick’s Sporting Goods weekly award is Jim Clarke of Tommy Guns.

Jim transitions up to forward to fill the gap of his team playing short-handed on offense, becoming a scoring threat as he scores his first goal of the season to break open this game, while setting up two other goals.  Well done Jim!

The winner of the weekly AARP award is Paul Firicano of Tommy Guns.

Paul scores the first goal of the game to swing the momentum and game over to his team, while also setting up another goal.  In addition, Paul quarterback’s his team’s defense, limiting the oppositions scoring chances.

The winner of the Nelson Sousa memorial Goalie of the Week award is Anthony Petrillo of Cam-A-Lot.

Anthony is sharp all game, stopping all 25 shots he faces, to record the league's first shutout this season.  Anthony is especially sharp in the third period as he makes multiple key saves to preserve the win for his team, while playing a big part in his team’s strong start to begin the season.

The winner of the Mylec Defenseman of the Week award is Dave Costa of Poo Bears.

In a low scoring, very close game that saw the defenses and goalies stand out, Dave plays solid defense and factors in on both of his team’s goals with 2-assists.  His heads up play late in the game of a tied game results in the game winner as he draws two defenders at the point, then banks a pass to an open teammate who buries the game winning goal.

The Dunkin Player of the Week award winner is Dominic DeFrancisco of First Responders.

Captain Dominic leads by example for his team, factoring in on every goal his team scores with 2-goals while adding 2-assists, for a positive start to their season.  In his typical style of play, Dominic was all over the rink, forechecking and backchecking, setting the tempo for his team.

The winner of the Dick’s Sporting Goods weekly award is Brian Pollinger of Cam-A-Lot.

The rookie made quite an impression in his first-ever game played in the Over-30 league, as he made an impact right away, scoring the tying goal late in the second period, then setting up the game winner in the third.  After watching Brian’s game on the rink, comments of “Lee who?” were heard around the rink.  Well done, Brian!

Rob played a solid all-around defensive game with smart positioning, while setting up a goal, helping his team earn their first win of the season.  Rob’s game compliments just how much depth on defense his team has.

Dale jumped right into the fire and pressure in his first game of the new season, having to face the defending champions.  Dale locked the net down the second half of this game, not allowing any goals, giving his team time to get their offense going and take control of this game.

With his team retooled and with a different looking roster, adding players on offense and defense to address some team needs, the captain sets the tempo for his team from defense, as well as sending a league message that this is a different team, as he scores his team first 2-goals.
