In recent years the Over-30 League Director Bill Abcunas, along with feedback from his trusted board of directors, has been on a personal mission of giving back to the players.
It started years ago with the weekly awards, then progressed to raffles, but the efforts really kicked into high gear when the league started to rally around special fundraising events.
The league’s newest board member Tony Medeiros, Director of Fundraising and Special Events, has been tasked to lead the way in our efforts to give back to the players via monthly drawings and raffles.
Several players have also stepped up with “Players giving back to Players” via Donny Maccini (Meat Donations), Dave Giusti (Grill Master), and Timmy “Tito” Burke (ABC) in conjunction with the Board of Directors and their side dishes to make our Food Pop-Up events something to look forward to.
