Matty "The Great One" Iannello backed it up over his 55-seasons in the league. He was the first player to break 1,000-points in 2014 and finished his career (1996-2025) with 1431-points in the regular season.

In shadows of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Over-30 League had the one-off "2021 Déjà Flu Season" when Matty Iannello scored his 508th goal to break Joe Shannon's previous record of 507-goals.
It took Matty 49-seasons to break Joe's record that he accomplished in 36-seasons.
Matty finished his (55-Seasons) with 569-goals and Joe finished his (40-Seasons) with 528-goals.

Matty Iannello
One of the best playmakers in the game finished his career with 867-assists. Matty Iannello retired with more assists than most players will retire with total points (goals & assists). Only about 2% of the entire league's 30+ year history of players will collect 850 total points, nevermid 867-assists alone.
Known as a prolific passer, when you were on a line with Matty... you should "expect the unexpected" as his knowlegde for open guys around him was "great".

October 11, 2014 Legends Last Stand’s John Lasala Jr has his slap shot from his own end beat goalie Alby Luise.
What made this a highlight is that the goal set an Over-30 league record for longest goal ever scored as John was a few feet behind his own icing white line, behind his own net, when he took his shot. Estimates put the distance at about 147 feet.
