Mike Hollingsworth is one of the original players joining during (Season 2), Mike’s imposing size earned him the nickname of the “twin tower” together with his ability to always keep the ball in the offensive zone made him one of the toughest defensemen to get around. In 2016, the league honored Mike, creating the “Mike Hollingsworth Most Valuable Defenseman” award presented each season to the league’s top defenseman.

Paul Correia joined the league (Season 6) and was part of the original influx of Portuguese players to play in the league. He was one of the funniest characters to ever play in the league and a great teammate. His sneaky hard shot surprised many a goalie. An unexpected medical event prevented him from playing in the league, but in keeping with the league’s “family policy” Paul who wore #12 was a secret surprise nominee and welcomed into the Hall of Fame family as the 12th inductee.

Like any sport, street hockey teams are judged by wins and lose, while an individual player’s achievements are measured with goals and assists.
But for the league to be successful you need dedication by its leadership.

Kellie “Alywin” Abcunas was not inducted for her points or goals (because she officially has none). Her value to the league comes in the form of commitment and dedication through decades of service to the league. Her “Chief of Staff” title and current Board Member says it all, from designing and choosing the colors for the teams each new season, to acting treasurer, to the day-to-day and game day activities that are required, Kellie has been the league director’s consigliere and sounding board since the early 2000’s.
