Winning!!
Everything is great when you’re “winning”… isn’t that right Charlie Sheehan and Gino Tammaro?
Gino is a prime example of the Over-30 draft intentions. When the sole “Drafter” divides the (72) “Draftees “amongst the 6-teams… The draft makes more sense when (yourself) and your team plays, as it was intended to do on paper.
After his 3-point performance last week, including the first shorthanded goal of the season, Gino is two points away from getting his picture up with the League Leaders… and his team is 2-points out of 1st place.
We say this now Gino… because we want you to understand who your captain is, and how many championships he’s won (as a captain). With your help this season it might be Capo-Zero… Gino-One! We suggest you wear your new championship jacket every week as motivation, maybe even let Angelo De Luca try it on… but explain to him that his will say “Captain” on the sleeve.
First Response
There is no award for this… but Dale McIssac gets the “Most Improved” award for the month of September.
After his Week #2 shellacking, when he faced 32-shots and only stopped 72% of them for his 9-5 loss… He quickly learned from his blowout to Tommy Guns and only let up 1-goal to the Poo Bears. He followed that performance up with his “First Response” to the First Responders… “No Goals for You!... Come back Week #9”
The Discovery Channel has “Shark Week” in July… and the Over-30 League almost had “Shutout Week” (Week #4) as both Dale and AJ Larabee shut their opponents out with a combined 11-0… Hey Anthony Petrillo… “You’re gonna need a bigger boat” or at least a bigger blocker if you want to fish for sharks in this league.
Balanced Scoring
Like The Revolution two weeks ago when they spread their 6-goal victory to (6) different goal scores, last week Capo-Zero did the same with their 4-goal victory using (4) different scorers.
Dare we say it…, this could be the season Angelo De Luca… You’re getting balanced scoring, good goaltending and Kyle McCabe is not playing like Kyle McCabe from Barney & Friends, he looks more comfortable as a second season veteran.
Could Gino Tammaro’s new championship jacket be obsolete and replaced with a new one in January 2026?
